After 18 yrs of Indy. What can the Gold Coast expect?

Is the A1GP championship  just one step up to F1?  Is this true?  Because if it is, we are in for one hell of a race in the next 5 years on the Gold Coast Australia. See ya INDY Racing!

Yes, it's one step above F1. Yes

Car design based on the 2004 Ferrari F1 car, but because they are all the same and the drivers are all very talented, the racing is better.

Indy inherited the Surfers Paradise race from the merger with ChampCar.. and Indy is not very fond of travelling outside the U.S.

I thing the Gold Coast is soo much better of with A1.

A1GP+V8 - Maybe if this works they could carry the relationship further with joint efforts for NZ (Wellington) and an Asian(Indoneasian street)race in the future.. Makes it all more finacially viable

    Better racing than F1.

cars up to same speed on street circuit, identicle cars, closer racing and a friendlier paddock.

    you will not be dissapointed.

A1gp is maybe after the F1 one of the best series as a singleseter car, the idea of nation vs nation is fantastic, we have to remeber that this is just the forth year of A1 gp, now is just reborn with Ferrari brand and this can only bring fame to A1gp.

A1 gp today is more famous than series that other old renomated series, and this series can only bring fame to each nation is going to visit, the best opportunity for each nation to improve tourism to all the world, to improve infrastucture etcc....

Gold Coast have to expect from A1 gp much more than Indy becouse Indy more or less is watched only by americans and few more, but A1gp is a world wide series the only touching 5 continents ( F1 touch only 4 ). Gold coast a paradise for american will be discovered even from europeans, and sure that mean more tourism and increment of work for all, but maybe in a not later future an F1 race ? but to have an F1 race is not so easy the organization and capital to invest to have F1 is not a small thing, but A1 gp can be a good school for the future aspect of it.

I'm italian so please sorry for my english, but i'm the live sample of the benefit of A1 gp to Gold coast! why? before A1 gp confirmed Gold coast as strett circuit i didn't know even the exsitance of it!!! so at least one person more now know abouot Gold coast, and if that happen to me u'll see it will be same for so many others europeans....
