What is 'Gauteng' ? circuit intended is clearly Kyalami. Unclear what this name means and will cause confusion.

i am pretty annoyed too! gauteng is a province. the johannesburg gp would make more sense. shanghai or chengdu is not a province, its a city...

The reason why it's always named "Gauteng" is because A1GP has gone into a partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Government (click). Without this they surely would call it "Kyalami" as everybody else.

I guess you have a point. But most of us still call it Kyalami anyway...
