FUBAR NZ, Bamber did not find 10 seconds from a set up change! The setup on the cars is a part of being successfull, but having an experienced talented driver is the most important. A good driver will have any team car in A1 near the front. An average driver would not get near the front in any car/team.

Well, I think that all new countrys has to have chance to emproove them drivers, but if driver is REALLY too slow or cannot handle car... on then out of grid so some legal term.. is it that 107% rule.. or what... I dunno... for example if driver stays many seconds per lap behind... is that driver fit to A1?? But if driver is fast enough and not dangerous to all - let it be in grid and track. Every country has to start somewhere. But is A1 that start place... that I leave teams deside.
Life is life, after all. Even after A1GP.

Still, project mine is GT serie... GT4 or GT3.. depends of sponsors..

You know what A1 should do is set up training camps for the off season to get the weeker teams up to scrach even if it means teaming up some of the stronger teams with them Pak with the uk china with IRL get drivers to mentor younger drivers or less ex drivers

A1GP are currently doing that with rookie drivers.

Ireland have a fantastic up and coming young rookie driver in Niall Quinn and Adam is guiding this lad in the right direction so i dont really think that he would be too happy if he was told that he had to mentor another young driver from another nation.plus you could have some "spy scandles" come out if this were to happen.

Zauggy has done ok for us,  but how about we get a driver who actually currently lives and races single seaters in SA,. I'm sure we have more than enough talent in the country?  Be nice to see some new blood in the team and avoid the politics of possible premadonas!!!
    GO VULINDLELA GO!!!!!

hey brett, nice to hear from you again!

Yeah in a way i do agree with you. Zauggy's great and I would be sad to see him go. Glad gavin cronje got the seat, but would also like to see wesleigh orr in the racing seat sometime soon. Whatever happened to stephen simpson?
