    Imran R:

    PK786,

Good point you made in regards to F3000 being a faded series, however Massa, Alsonso, Schumacher and Heidfeld all came from the Euroseies3000 and i believe that this would be a credible championship to win along with heritage attached to it. Looking at Prost in A1 in Chengdu i believe that Adam will kick arse and leave all these drivers for dust. I can not wait until Adam Khan gets in that seat, because he will make history and show his talent off by win majority of the final races.

    Regards

    Imran R

Imran, you are getting your series mixed up. None of the drivers you mentioned below drove in Italian F3000, which is what the current Euroseries F3000 has grown out of. Alonso and Heidfeld drove in the main F3000 championship, which was replaced by GP2. The F3000 Adam Khan is driving in does not have much importance at all really.

Your enthusiasm for Adam Khan is admirable but be realistic....a single podium would be a major achievement and will need some luck.

rst of all let me tell u im not here to maline my own team that is Pakistan and i love my team and Adam is the best driver we have and talking about the chasis all the teams have completed their cars within a span of 8 months its only our team that is taking too long

    Re: pakistan's chances

If this topic is about pakistan chances then the obvious factor is the driver so lets talk about him. To date, his success hasnt been electrifying, this is a fact you cant deny. Hes a half handy pilot but hasnt performed when tested I would say, most notably in GP2 Asia where his perfomances were less than sparkly. Not even top ten finishes in 4 starts. He was reasonably quick but about a second and a bit off the frontrunners. There is a difference between racing and being able to do reasonable fast laps. He does have a natural feel for the racing car, he can control oversteer understeer like all drivers. some good, some not so good. His A1GP performances are questionable because of total crapness of the team and the leader was mad. It was like making Zardari head of BMW F1. Shouldnt have happened.

If he wins Euroseries 3000 its something to show the sponsors but those in the know will vouch that its not the most credible championship. A much larger impact would be winning a major F3 championship, British F3 or F3 Euroseries or atleast being a race winner in it in the championship class, race winner in Formula Renault UK or other series. Dominating the GP2 asia series would have done his career wonders, like it did for Grosjean but...it didnt happen. Even a dominating drive through the field would have to something like 5th or 6th, but he crashed too often.

If khans total capability of being able to win for pakistan is questioned it shouldnt be seen as negative, just realism. But then I guess we all will find out when a wheel is turned.

    Re: pakistan's chances

Vicky, Your team had completed there car prior to Zandvoort, and I believe even shook down at Snett.. However to race you have to be within the within the safety regulations for driver. Adam is not with the current car.. you still have not told everyone your solution, so he can race.

    Re: pakistan's chances

PK maybe he doesnt actually need to be as good as your saying. Ok for F1 you are probably right, but he has beaten Nicolas Prost who was a front runner at Chengdu so maybe he will be ok and be able to get up thr. If only A1GP Finland existed! Kimi Raikkonen would show these boys hows it done. Maybe A1GP will become a retiring home for those who no longer consider F1 a sport. Judging by some of the shite decisions made this year by the lawyers and suits it would seem WWF1 would be a more appropriate name.

    Re: pakistan's chances

hi makman well this is ur point of view that there is a problem with the team what i believe is that there is no problem apart from the fact that Adam is concentrating in Euro 3000 to win that championship as he is very close to winning it. i have never said that there is a problem with the car or the team its just the availability of the driver unfortunately

    Re: pakistan's chances

Why is he at all rounds of A1gp... Also the more seat time/race laps he has will only help his  F3000 results. Your opinion has no logic!!!

    Vicky,

As per makman's comment you do not seem to understand the issue...the simple and only reason that Adam Khan was not in the car for Zandvoort and Chengdu is that he does not fit in it safely. I saw him with my own eyes in Chengdu so it is nothing to do with availability!!!

    Re: pakistan's chances

my absence hasnt made alot of difference i see haha :)

using capital letters is like screaming isnt it ;)

""Massa, Alsonso, Schumacher and Heidfeld all came from the Euroseies3000 and i believe that this would be a credible championship ""

after F3 came along .. forumla 3000 went down bigtimes ....  F3 has better faster stronger cars and is a way better series ... F3000 was good in its days .. its days are all but over ;) ... . a series doesnt make a race driver ..

stop betting on "different race series" people ... its the DRIVER that matters .. if the driver has talent he will climb the ladder no matter what

about the car being tweaked for team pak ... comon people .. ferrari are not babies .. they have made more chassis then a1 has seen it all its seasons ...

do you really think it would take ferrari this long to tweak just one chassis ? or make a new one... think for yourselves ...

im not saying im almighty god or anything .. things just dont add up

oh and if you think im cynical ... please ignore this post and dont quote it saying crap in caps kthxbye

    Re: pakistan's chances

Marty what have Ferrari to do with making the chassis?? A1GP purchased all the engines from them (hence the cash flow problems) and the right to use there name in the champonship, that is all..

    Re: pakistan's chances

Gee some people insist on writing some nonsense in here! I am pleased that A1GP is bringing new fans to the sport, but on the other hand...

For the two of you who refuse to view reality, go to Wikipedia or some other source and look up Nigel Mansell, McLaren, 1995. Such a great team, but were they able to suddenly make a bigger car for Nige? No...

    Re: pakistan's chances

makman and kiwi try to be rational only being at the race and actually racing are two different things Adam was in china but not racing so just being there is not justifying ur statement try to use ur minds
