hmmm that is interesting.
Sounds like they're going for wholesale changes with this new model then.
It could be a good thing though - if it's Michelin it would make sense. From their point of view as they have recently lost f1. Also as it probably means its an A1GP direction rather than a ferrari initiative (Ferrari have used Bridgestone in f1 rather than Michelin) so it's another sign that Ferrari aren't set to take over everything (yet) which is a good thing.
For me this is just as important as the new car itself. Cooper Tyres have had an excellent product and has allowed the cars to race and overtake, particularly on some of the longer sweeping corners (Dubai from season 1 springs to mind) - we can't can't really expect anythin less from now on so this is gonna be a major factor.
So, we've got the new chassis, new engine (and power), potentially new tyres. What else do we know?..... Does anyone know if they're keeping the (ahem) 'Big' tyres on the back and the 'Small' tyres on the front? something else that could be pivitol to overtaking etc?.......
Cheers.
