    GBR race seat???

Who do you think or who do you want to be in the GBR seat next season???

To be honest it will proberly be Robbie Kerr as he is a great driver and has been witht he team since the very start, but he does get alot of bad luck. It wouldnt be a bad decision to choose Robbie Kerr but do you think its time for a new driver???

    Re: GBR race seat???

Robbie has been in A1GP from the beginning originally he was a tester before the teams joined and racing began -- then he has raced for GBR for the first 3 seasons and has done very well -- Thanks Robbie.

But now with the new car, chassis, engine, gearbox, electronics, tyres, etc, he only carries track knowledge and experience into season 4 -- I think it is time to move on with a new younger driver -- let's be honest unlike some nations in A1GP we Brits don't have a problem with numbers of hungry talented drivers.

Unfortunately I don't follow the other series so not sure who is riding high [talent wise] but sure Kate does.

think i have to echo that statement Martin.

Robbie has been absolutely superb i would say and has been a credit not only to the gbr team but also the series as a whole.

however as we all know a1 is changing. this season could go absolutely anywhere and depending on your point of view, there is no better time to introduce a new driver than now.....

A1 Team Great Britain is also excited to announce that it will be conducting a driver evaluation during its two-day pre-season test in Britain with the new car. The team has been assessing its options over the summer and will be evaluating British talent over the course of the test with a view to selecting next season’s race driver. More details will be revealed on the drivers selected for the test in the early part of August. GBR’s Mugello driver line-up will be announced prior to the race, which will be taking place 19-21 September.
They are also going to be announcing a new design for the car soon.

Robbie is a good no question of it, im sure hes gonna be in this seat for the entire season but i do think we should try out another driver as robbie has a lot of bad luck which isnt doing to well for gbr.

    Re: GBR race seat???

How about Ben Clucas. He's got to be one of UK's most successfull junior drivers and has beat many of the past GBR A1 drivers.

    Re: GBR race seat???

i don't know much about you british ppl and how you feel but i do believe that robbie is a great driver. Kate also mentioned that you guys are planning on the "one driver only" thing and i think robbie would do great.

hmm...why do i always think Anthony Davidson is gonna join a1???
