Bad luck for Team Lebanon Morad in Zaanvoort

    Hello guys,

I think Morad made an amazing race today, great skills and lot of attack on extremely difficult conditions, i loved the guy, unfortunately he took some risks and payed for them in the last few laps.

I'll make sure not to miss Team Lebanon from now on.

    Bravo Lebanon

Mte, the guy was amoving wreck waiting to happen.  Unfortunately the worst of his efforts resulted in him screwing up the weekend for another team.

He's an idiot who shouldnt be there.

A moving wreck that was on the 4th position for like 15 minutes, and who gave a good lesson to the Australian and the Netherland , i  love moving wrecks like him...

Are you the Chinese guy that was running at 90kp/h in the middle of trajectory or what??

Tell me what team do you support and that's fine with me !!

Team Lebanon and Daniel Morad (who is by the way only 18 years old) did a fantastic race this weekend! And i think that a rookie driver who finished in the 8th place in the first race should take credit for his awesome result... So sorry we dont think that he is idiot (did u know how to drive when you were 18?) we think that he did a fantastic job by chalenging top teams and experienced drivers! Hopefully with more races to go and more experience to take, Daniel will make better results!

    GO Lebanon!!!

True he did awesome but we have to not forget how many drivers and teams were missing plus 5 cars finsihed was crazy but he proved lot of talent i would like to see BESCHIR with the team taking part of all this and see what he can show in this car as everyone starting from zero even korea who was 10 sec down per lap got 6th its crazy but good show

Bravo Morad and Lebanon for putting such a great show. Morad drove imazing and we thank him for this. Any other driver would not have been able to even do one lap in those conditions and now i believe that we are compatitive finaly and no amount of bad talking would change it

Morad is the man to do the job

    Go LEBANON Go

Hi Guys well done for Lebanon's first points and Morad

I am just worried on 2 facts: when all the grid will be there will Lebanon stilll performing that high? i mean in qualifying the gap was nearly 2 seconds and Morad was quick really qyick in the race but he did lot of mistakes and then crashed luckly not everyone finished we got the points i dont want to be negative but lets wait and see before we promise ourselves lot!

Why the team choosed Auby reserve driver not Beschir they drove last year and Beschir was better he should be the 2nd driver

Re: Bad luck for Team Lebanon Morad in Zaanvoort

The Chinese car was slow?  He was braking for turn one.  The lebanese driver just lost it completely all on his own on a straight, and then plowed into the back of the chinese car.  That is just reckless.  Combine that with the number of other mistakes he made, and yes he was an idiot.  He was driving way to hard, and way too far above his skill or experience in those conditions.  In the end it did'nt just cost just him but china as well.

Imagine if he had just pulled his head in and settled down for the last two laps, you would have had another 4 or so points and had something to cheer about.  Instead your team is facing a complete rebuild of a car that there are barely any spares for yet, and a whole lot of wasted time, all because Daniel thought he was Micheal Schumacher.

Btw  I support NZ, so no, I have no allegiance to China or anyone else Daniel almost crashed into.

This guy COULD be competetive, but if he doesn't control the rush of blood, and show some common sense he will spend more time in the weeds than on the track.

    Haste On.

Re: Bad luck for Team Lebanon Morad in Zaanvoort

NZ  made a great race actually i agree, they were cautious and that payed in the end. That's what lacked with Morad, being cautious!

Concerning Morad,  it does not matter if Morad ended on the grass along with China, the biggest drivers like Schumi and Senna  unfortunately made mistakes and crashed along with other runners, this is car Racing, and if you look well, the car of Morad went out of control, spinned and threw the Chinese car, and YES the Chinese car was Slow, and that what they were saying on TV and that's what it looked like anyway, it's Morad's mistake however , i ain't saying the opposite, what matters is that he WAS competitive and i hope he'll remain, and he'll learn from his mistakes.

The guy got excited, TRUE, but it's the first time i enjoyed watching a race under stormy weather without falling asleep.

Looking forward to see him on dry circuit, to know the guy better.

    Regards.

Re: Bad luck for Team Lebanon Morad in Zaanvoort

hastykiwi... first off, you have no idea about racing. that is the first thing i must say. you can clearly see that morad touched a deep puddle of water and there was nothing he could do about it. if morad could put the car in a competitive position in 4th, then i think he might be able to handle the car on the straightline wth no issue. i was looking at the live timing and the lebanese car was just as quick as the race leaders so he can drive, that is for sure. the chinese car was very slow and broke very early infront of morad from what it looked like and he moved a bit too far to the outside of the track and was along just a passenger at that point when he hit the water.

if it wasnt for his ablilty to drive, he would have never been in a position to get any points. it was unfortunate that the accident happened at the end but you can see potential in his driving. just look how he was battling with top teams such as netherlands. he had a great fight out there and i support him and the team all the way.

Re: Bad luck for Team Lebanon Morad in Zaanvoort

Hakim, you apparantely are less of a driver than I am.  Did it ever occur to you that maybe the China driver was not going too slow, but Morad was going too fast.   Morad was behind another car going in to a slow corner in shite conditions and probably had almost zero visibility, and he did know there was a car in front.  Does he back off in caution - no -he just boots into the corner heedless of what is ahead.

Yes he can run the pace of the front drivers, - for a short time- until he has the inevitable spin/loss of control.  That is where his lack of skill is evident.

Look, who knows, he might be fine in the dry where the tolerances for mistakes are greater, but as I said, with a little more care, Lebanon could have come away with double the points and a car intact.    Its a crime that he could'nt deliver that for the team only a couple of laps from the end.

Let's hope he'll be as good but more cautious in the next race, that is, HK is right saying that he could have finished in a honorable position, that would have made us, Lebanon Team fans very glad.

Better luck next time for Morad, i am sure that he as a driver won't disappoint, let's pray that the team will remain motivated and professional, With Billy Karam's management, i can't be but positive, Billy is the guy!!

    Cheers guys!!

    A HAge

    kifak man?

I dont know if you watched the race on LBC but there is 2 points here:

    - The thing Lebanon got point was more luck then result we can see 6 cars finished but Daniel did well thats true and it is the only difference from before we have more experienced driver but still not as good as people like france and big names i dont know what the future is holding we will see.

    - If you watched the race on LBC Billy Karam interview was bad i mean really bad he shoudl stick in rallye not in single seaters the guy didnt know what he was talking the team didnt score points because billy is ionvolved just cz of luck and cz of Morad nothign else.

    - And i am still hoping to see a person like Khalil Beschir back in the team the guy was great for the team the world the all world say that , i heard he will be racing somethign else before he make a return to the team later on in the season we need him he is a great lebanese ambassador in single seaters
