Theres a rumour going around that a business man from monaco has just brought a A1GP car.We all know there national race course in monte carlo but who is there national driver or drivers. This would be a great boost in A1 with so many countries wanting to get into A1 to represent there countries Iceland the latest one but monaco differnently something to thing about it and the Philippines as well.

You buy a franchise not a car -- they are owned by A1GP

Hopefully if the race will be held on the monte carlo street. And i want too if the race held with F1 at the same time.

A1GP need a whole day to do both races (Sprint and Feature)
so I don't think A1GP and F1 can be held at the same weekend in the same circuit..

but that's an interesting idea

It's just not feasible. Simple as that. Logistics of hosting two major series side by side the complexities of it all.... just will not happen.

Unless Bernie Ecclestone decides to buy A1GP and turn it into an F1 support event, that would probably never happen.  And I wouldn't want A1GP to be an F1 support event anyway.

Im not sure where the laughter was aimed at (whether it was the idea of the race or the Team Monaco) but Id have to agree with Bruce and say its not feasible, Im afraid. In addition to the points above it doesnt tally with the A1 calendar does it?? And A1 has its own street event in Durban.

I think the A1GP can be held on the weekdays.
