    Re: Who is coming?

Isn't there anybody (A1GP.com ?) who can publish a list of teams who are coming to Zandvoort. (Or a list which team is not). It's only 2 days from now. Can't be that difficult.

Or will we hear on saturday that only 14 (?) teams are ready to start on sunday the new season in front off 80000 crazy dutch spectators.

That will be the end of A1 in the Netherlands.. Let's hope for the promised 19 cars....

    Re: Who is coming?

Teams which were at the tests (and probably reached their testing limit): Netherlands, South Africa, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand (perhaps 1 extra day to go - they finished their car later), Italy => they'll definitly be there.

Teams who presented a livery and/or drivers but didn't show at the tests: China, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Monaco, Pakistan, Portugal, Switzerland. => they probably test at Snetterton tomorrow (if their cars are ready) - but how are they coming from Snetterton to Zandvoort in time?

Monaco has finished they're car cause they drove it in Monaco already. In another thread, Martin-A1 said Mexico and India aren't coming to Zandvoort.

Teams I didn't hear anything from: Brazil, Canada, USA, GBR. Rtlgp.nl announced that team GBR is not coming to Zandvoort.

Teams that won't make it anyway: Czech Republic (not even on the main page anymore) and team GER (Weber fails)

    Re: Who is coming?

These are teams either confirmed or rumoured to be missing from Zandvoort -- Germany, Canada, Mexico, India and GBR

These are teams that according to someone with insider information says will be competing -- SUI, FRA, GER, ITA, NED, RSA, MAL, NZL, CHN, KOR and MON

You will notice that Germany appears in both lists.

    Re: Who is coming?

Okee, we will wait and see............... .  Maybe more (good) news after the tomorrow test? Hmm

Maybe they have to cancel the whole weekend at Zandvoort and move it to the end of the season, as finishing race.Wink

    Re: Who is coming?

They can't cancel Zandvoort without being hit with a huge financial claim that they can't afford.

    Re: Who is coming?

The teams also definitely racing, some of whom are testing at Snetterton this week, are from Australia, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and the USA.
The final group of teams who are still working flat out and will have to head straight to Zandvoort are Brazil, China, France, Portugal and Switzerland.

Meanwhile Canada, Germany, Great Britain, India and Mexico will have to wait for the second event of the season for their race debuts.
